The Ocean Plastics Leadership Network (OPLN) hosted a four-day technical expedition from May 14th to 17th, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada, and Portland, Oregon. The tour engaged 31 participants from across the packaging value chain to study high-performing systems for packaging recovery, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Deposit Return Systems (DRS), and reuse and refill models.
