The Packaging Standards Compass · Session 1: Brands, Understanding the Issue

The Packaging Standards Compass is a shared view of how customer packaging requirements and state EPR laws interact, and an exploration of how industry could solve the gaps between them. It runs as three virtual sessions between October 2026 and January 2027, each one hour, with no fee to take part.
Session 1 is built for brands and the packaging supply chain: understanding the issue. Where do customer packaging requirements and state EPR rules pull in different directions, what does that cost, and which questions does a brand have to answer before the next design cycle?
Convened by Circle and launched at See Change in September, the Compass is reviewed against antitrust guidance and runs under Chatham House Rule. The hope is a clear path forward by the end of Session 3, captured in a short phase-one paper. The programme is delivered with support from Atlantic Packaging.
Register once on the Compass page and you will receive the calendar invitation and joining details for each session you choose.
