Canada Circular Policy Expedition

Canadian Circular Policy Expedition
An on-the-ground exploration of packaging EPR and circular policy in practice.
Join Circle by OPLN for a multi-day learning experience designed to help U.S. policymakers and stakeholders engage directly with circular policy systems in Canada. Through site visits, stakeholder dialogue, and facilitated discussion, participants will examine how packaging EPR frameworks are structured, implemented, and experienced across the value chain.
The expedition is designed to translate firsthand observation into practical insight for U.S. policy conversations — giving participants the opportunity to learn from Canadian implementation, ask deeper questions, and consider how lessons may apply in their own state or institutional context.
Arrive and connect
Meet policymakers, practitioners, and cross-sector leaders who are shaping circular systems in real time. The expedition begins with introductions that matter and conversations that go beyond the typical conference format.
Learn from the ground
Hear directly from the people designing, operating, and improving circular systems. Through on-site visits and technical discussion, participants will explore what is working, what remains challenging, and what practical lessons can be applied elsewhere.
Take action forward
Leave with a clearer understanding of implementation in practice, stronger cross-sector relationships, and insights that can inform policy, investment, and internal strategy long after the expedition ends.
