In October 2023, the Ocean Plastics Leadership Network (OPLN) conducted a five-day technical expedition in Germany and Lithuania to examine high-performing packaging recovery systems. The tour included 30 participants from across the packaging value chain, aiming to foster collaboration and advance policy harmonization for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and Deposit Return Systems (DRS) in the United States.
