The Packaging Standards Compass · Session 2: Customer Requirements and Limitations

Friday 20 November 2026 · 1:00–2:00pm ET
Virtual (Zoom)
Speakers to be announced

The Packaging Standards Compass is a shared view of how customer packaging requirements and state EPR laws interact, and an exploration of how industry could solve the gaps between them. It runs as three virtual sessions between October 2026 and January 2027, each one hour, with no fee to take part.

Session 2 focuses on the companies that set packaging requirements: what those requirements are trying to achieve, where they run up against state EPR rules, and the practical limits on changing them. The session is open to everyone across the value chain.

Convened by Circle and launched at See Change in September, the Compass is reviewed against antitrust guidance and runs under Chatham House Rule. The hope is a clear path forward by the end of Session 3, captured in a short phase-one paper. The programme is delivered with support from Atlantic Packaging.

Register once on the Compass page and you will receive the calendar invitation and joining details for each session you choose.
